Another evil tack session, this time at Pevensey, making use of my Wednesday afternoon off work. The usual NE'ly stuff - a horrible gusty chopfest compensated by glorious cloudless skies. Having two sails rigged simultaneously really helped today. This was the first time I'd tried my 5.2 on the 400 mast and it felt surprisingly good - much lighter, with no obvious alteration to stability or power. I might always go 5.2+400 in future which makes having two masts (430+460) for only two sails (5.8+6.6) seem a bit daft!
